I was out jogging the other afternoon and you know how you can suddenly sense someone is watching you. Well I got a chilling feeling and looked back to see a six-foot guy walking fast behind me. He was just scruffy looking but I couldn’t be sure he wasn’t just out for a walk like I was out for a jog. It was

full daylight and I glanced around to see if there were any other people in the park. I saw a few mothers with little kids playing at a swing set and I left the path and went over to join them. The scruffy looking dude walked on along the path never even glancing my way. I told the two women why I had come over to join them and we chatted for a few minutes.

 

One woman named Jenny showed me a small black item she carried in her pocket, wherever she goes she said. It is a siren type alarm that she can set off if she is in any kind of danger. It emits a screeching siren sound that can be heard about a fourth of a mile away. Anyone would recognize it as a call for help and she said usually she is never more than a half a block away from other people. It makes her feel secure especially since she has little kids.

 

I checked it out on the Internet and they are sold at several reliable web sites. They don’t even cost very much and I’m gonna order one. I’m gonna use PayPal cause I’m really careful about my information online. PayPal doesn’t give any company your credit card numbers although they have to take down your address to mail the alarm to you. I’m only gonna go jogging with my girl friend or my husband until the alarm gets delivered. I never saw the same scruffy dude in that park again but there’s a 50/50 chance he was stalking after me or any other jogger he could find all alone.
